An Air Force veteran meteorologist, licensed in architecture, degreed in interior design, certified in construction management, and credentialed as a specifications writer, her experience makes her uniquely equipped to translate big ideas into detailed documentation.
In short, she delivers quality assurance with efficiency and efficacy—on time and within your budget. By staying goal-oriented, and respectful of the design, she guides teams towards clarity and consensus with grace and ease.
Lia specializes in projects of various sizes and complexities that are often community-focused, sustainability-driven, and thoughtful in scale. She collaborates closely with design teams to ensure their vision is fully realized, guiding projects toward comprehension and consensus with curiosity, clarity, and ease. A firm believer in the emotional power of place, Lia is proud to support work that makes a meaningful impact.

FACTS: Lia was raised in the corn-fed and progressive enclave of Iowa City, Iowa. She has worked in The Kingdom of Bahrain, South Korea, New Zealand, and Antarctica twice! For the past 25 years, her base of operations has been Capitol Hill, Seattle, where she is active in bettering her community. In time, she plans to make good on designing and building more furniture, writing several books, and becoming fluent in Arabic.
Her business was born in Luxor, Egypt along the banks of the Nile.
